When it comes to traveling for your family vacation with the kids in tow. I can't think of a better place than Cozumel, Mexico. There are so many choices of all-inclusive resorts that provide meals and activities making it a perfect destination. We have been a few times to Cozumel and it always gives you more bang for your buck. This was a last minute getaway before the summer was over. It was our oldest son and my husband finding the best deal one night and booking it immediately.
We chose El Cozumeleno Beach Resort for the location and cost for the family. The time of year is also important, we booked late July. This package deal included airfare on Sun Country Airline and our resort.
The rooms are spacious with a glorious view of the pool and ocean. There were alot of scuba divers checking in when we arrived wearing their diving shirts. I would assume it might be a great site for diving.
The people in Cozumel are incredible, with that said the same was true of the staff at El Cozumeleno Beach Resort. My husband and youngest son had the best time with the activities staff members. Angel was in charge of ping-pong games. The snorkeling staff was also amazing. On our snorkeling trip, we saw stingrays, barracudas and a host a beautiful tropical fish.
The multiple pools were excellent and gave you plenty of options. If you wind up with a little burn you can take refuge in the indoor pool. There are some things you need to know before booking at El Cozumeleno Beach Resort. We weren't exactly well-versed on the showers work left to right. You will need to go down and get your beach towels early are you will have to wait. Your technology devices best to turn them off they might only work in the lobby. Check with the time of housekeeping hours different at El Cozumeleno, our housekeeping ran late afternoon and that's the time that we were getting ready to go out on the town.
When he comes to feeding everybody has their own preference. I found most of their dishes tasty. The drinks at the pool are great. Just remember the staff works really hard, remember to tip and you will never have to wait for a drink at the pool.
El Cozumeleno Beach Resort is in the perfect location very close to town. We love going to Carlos and Charlie's great food, great drinks on the beach. Shopping is available right there at your table.
Bob Marley's good place to chill and Coconuts a lot of craziness they're Ok for a teen not so much for little ones.
The best place to get the great deals, believe it or not, is the market. What to buy in Cozumel, boots, purses/bags, and jewelry just to name a few.
If you can only do one thing in town treat yourself Casa Mission for an extraordinary dinner and atmosphere. I recommend the lime soup and the surf and turf excellent. Always one of our favorites.
